The large straight track Marklin 24360 to scale HO 1/87th with a length of 360 mm is equivalent to a straight track of reference 24172 added to another straight track reference 24188 of the same make.
This Marklin 24360 rail also corresponds to the length of a switch reference 24611 or 24612 added to the 24224 reverse curve.
The Marklin power system is commonly referred to as "3-rail system" or "AC system" for alternating current.

The Märklin H0 System: Thanks to the transition tracks, Märklin track systems can be combined with each other at will. The reliable operating system with central conductor and the common ground on both rails are retained and thus allow great layouts without complicated wiring (e.g. for reversing loops and track triangles).

This gives the line the effect of being in one piece, just like in the real world. An invisible force: Thanks to this solid "click" connection under the track, the geometry of the line can be scrupulously respected, without having to screw the track elements together. As a result, assembly and dismantling are a breeze. And absolutely everywhere! The body of the embankment (underside of the track) offers plenty of space for mounting electric turnout motors or decoders, laying cables and so on. Everything remains invisible from the outside.
