Résumé

One Occupancy and Feedback Module with 8 outputs, LRB08, under manufacturer 11230 by LENZ.

All scales.

Number of monitored sections: 8.

Maximum current per section: 4A.

Max total load (at all outputs): 5A.

Description

Under the reference LENZ 11230, this is the LRB08 occupancy and feedback module, which interrogates cyclically the connected inputs, for network at all scales.

Module Features:

- 8 outputs to monitor 8 track sections.

- States reported via R, S bus to the central LZV200 (LZV100, LZ100).

- Maximum current carrying capacity of each section is 4A.

- Total load capacity (current flow at all outputs) must not exceed 5A.

- If current flow is detected in the connected track section, this is reported to the LZ100/LZV100/LZV200 on the next request.

- If the track is free again (current no longer flows), this change is also signaled.

- The 8 signaling inputs have an adjustable delay time.

- In effect, if an occupied state is determined, this information is immediately transmitted to the control center. If the track section is free again, this is only transmitted to the center after the set delay time has expired.

Example of operation:

A locomotive enters a track section, so the "busy status" is immediately reported to the control center. If the locomotive leaves the section again, it takes the defined delay time until the "free status" is reported to the control center. If the current flow is briefly interrupted during the exit, for example due to a bad wheel-rail contact, this supposed "free" status is not immediately reported to the control center, but only the time delay is started.

If the current flow resumes before the time delay is over, the status remains "occupied". Only when current flow ceases during the time delay is the affected section reported to the control center as "free."

The time delay can be set in the range of 10 ms to 2.55 s in 10 ms increments. The factory setting is 500 ms. The maximum load capacity of the outputs is 4 A each, the total load capacity (current flow at all outputs) should not exceed 5 A.

LR100, LR101 and LRB08 can be used together.

The Manufacturer LENZ:

Lenz Elektronik was founded as a one-man business in 1979 by Bernd Lenz. It has specialized in the manufacture of a wide variety of electronic components since its inception, and with the development of the DCC format for the numerical control of miniature railroads, this company became known worldwide. This format was even declared a "standard digital format" by the American National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) in 1993.

This company also offers a range of very good quality O 1/45 scale rolling stock, and has become the market leader in Germany in this scale.

Lenze Elektronik also offers a small section of locomotives for HO 1/87 track, based on German prototypes.

On January 1, 2020, the Lenz Elektronik Company was sold to the Modelleisenbahngesellschaft mbH (MEG), Weiden.
