A little history:
From 1964 onwards, SBB also underwent a fundamental renewal of its rolling stock for international traffic. ÖBB also had these wagons built by Jenbachwerke under a licensing agreement in 1976 and used them on the Austrian rail network. SBB experimented with different green variants, which are also reproduced in the model. To match the passenger cars, sleeping cars, couchette cars and dining cars were also introduced and used on cross-border routes to Austria, Italy and Germany.
