The brand ARTITEC provides chains and wedges, to scale HO 1/87th under reference 387.300.
For assembly: Carefully drill holes approximately 1 mm deep in the 4 places on the vehicle where the chains are to be attached. Glue the hooks into the four holes using superglue.
Remove the bogies and coupling beam from the flat car. The four holes already present at the front and rear of the flat car must be enlarged to 0.6 - 0.7 mm using the same drill bit as before to accommodate the chains.
Glue the vehicle to the flat car and fix the wedges under the tracks, both using wood glue.
Attach the chains to the 6 hooks previously fitted and guide them through the holes in the flat car. Tighten the chains by carefully twisting them with tweezers or small pliers. Refasten the coupling beams and bogies to the flat wagon.
These chains and wedges will give a real plus to your military vehicles!
