Ree Modèles offers a locotracteur diesel Y 2101, delivered vert 306 "Sud-Est" and traverses rouges, digitale sonore, échelle H0 1/87, under reference MB145S.
This magnificent Y 2100 locotractor, in its digital sound version, is faithful to its period III version, having run for the SNCF. As with its Moyse locotractor, REE has equipped this model with an energy reserve, and an improved 3-point mechanism with brass bearing.
It is fitted with White and Red front and rear lights that are reversible depending on the direction of travel.
Model Designed for operation under a 2 rail - Direct Current system.
A little history:
The Y 2100s were the SNCF's first standardised locotractors. Like their successors, the Y 2200s, these small engines were intended to replace a very disparate locotractor fleet while completing the disappearance of archaic means of traction still present locally in the 1950s-60s, such as the shunting cow from Usson st Pal.
