Fleischmann is a model-making brand that offers the Re 6/6 electric locomotive, analogue, in scale N : 1/160th under reference 734120, which has the following features:
- This sublime railway model benefits from a Next18 electrical interface and a NEM 355 coupler box, with short kinematics.
- Mechanically, this has not been neglected, as this Re 6/6 locomotive is fitted with a motor with inertia mass, 4 motorised axles and a grip tyre.
- As for the lighting, this is provided by reversible Swiss LED lights depending on the direction of travel.
- This version is offered in its green livery with round lamps.
- The pantographs and windscreen wipers have been finely worked.
The little touch of history:
The Re 6/6 delivered a power of 7,850 kW, enabling it to reach a top speed of 140 km/h! First put into service in 1972, this locomotive is still one of the most powerful machines in Switzerland.
The axles were arranged in Bo'Bo'Bo' instead of the usual Co'Co' to improve its acceleration in service. The Re 66s were used throughout Switzerland, either in single or multiple unit traction for freight traffic.
Presentation of the manufacturer Fleischmann:
The German model railway brand Fleischmann was founded in 1887 by Jean Fleischmann. But it was in 1949 that the company created its first model train, which was designed in O: 1/45th scale. The company was subsequently acquired by Modelleisenbahn GmbH in 2008.
In 2017, Fleischmann decided to specialise in the design of model railway products in N: 1/160th scale. From now on, the production of HO: 1/87th scale equipment is reserved for the Roco brand, which currently belongs to the same group.
Like the Roco brand, the brand is characterised by their attention to detail, and the robustness of their products, which are designed from metallic materials. The brand also offers railway accessories (spare parts, tyres, couplings, etc.) and digital modules (analogue controller, digital control unit, digital remote control, etc.).
