This pack of wagons from the Roco brand contains three beautiful replicas of passenger carriages (reference 74019). It consists of two second-class carriages and one mixed carriage (first and second classes). This towed equipment is designed to run on a miniature railway layout at HO scale. This livery dates from the IV era. In other words, from the 70s and 80s. The style of these rail vehicles is marked by their era, but also by their origin. These Polish railway carriages offer great opportunities for creating sets.
These small-scale models are inspired by passenger carriages of the PKP, the Polish railways. The convoy is made up of an ABi type first and second class carriage, a Bi type carriage with open platforms and a Bi type second class carriage with closed access. In truth, these are former passenger carriagess from the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG), the German national railway company dismantled at the end of the Second World War. These reproductions include many original details:
- the rivets of the metal structure
- the finely detailed windows that open to the interior
- the central aisle and the two rows of seats in the rail vehicle
- the balustrades of the access platforms at the ends of the carriages
- the metallised axles and the pipework under the chassis

Ex-DRG passenger coaches
These express train coacheswith central aisle were built in the inter-war period in Germany. They were confiscated by the Allies at the end of the Second World War. The Polish Railways, like the SNCF, reused this rolling stock to which the access platforms give a characteristic style. In 1920, the body of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft's (DRG) wagons was made of riveted metal and the roof was timber-framed - they were called "pikes" in this livery. This is the classic version of the passenger carriages of the former DRG.
