In 1989, a fruitful collaboration began between Peugeot and the prestigious Roland Garros tennis tournament in Paris.
Using the 85-horsepower three-door Peugeot 205 XS as its base, these special editions were distinguished by the addition of top-of-the-range equipment unusual for this category of car, such as electric windows, electric soft tops, white leather and fabric upholstery, and much more.
From 1989 to 1993, the Peugeot 205 Roland Garros met with remarkable commercial success.
