How to fix a miniature tree in a diorama ?

A miniature tree is a very volatile plastic accessory. To fix it in a diorama, there are several methods. The most commonly used method involves applying a dab of glue to the base of the miniature tree to make it stand upright. It is advisable to use a quick-setting glue that has been specially designed for moderate use. They often prevent the plastic from whitening. The disadvantage of this method is that it is difficult to remove a miniature tree once it has been glued. Perhaps the easiest way to do this is to drill a small hole in the base of the accessory and insert a metal or plastic rod. This rod can then be inserted into the floor of the diorama. This technique makes it easy to place the miniature tree in the landscape.
