Small right-hand deflection switch code 100 Peco SLE91 Electrofrog with a length of 185 mm, an angle of 12° and a deflection radius of 610 mm.
The Peco brand of track offers a broad range of track for building a model train layout.
The British company is known for its code 100 and 75 rails in HO 1/87 scale .
The track sections are made of maillechort (an alloy of copper and brass), materials that offer very high electrical conductivity and do not oxidize (easier rail cleaning).
Peco's HO 1/87 scale turnouts are available in two technologies: Insulfrog and Electrofrog.
The Insulfrog models have a plastic (and therefore non-electrically powered) core point. These turnouts are recommended for model train systems in analog operation (conventional transformer power supply).
Electrofrog models have a metal core tip (allowing for better power pickup from locomotives). Thus, at low speeds, the engines run more smoothly. These turnouts are recommended for model train networks in digital operation (power supply by digital control unit).
The turnout deviation system allows the turnout to be motorized with several types of motors:
A tabletop motor reference Peco PL11 which is placed next to the turnout on the track plan.
An under-table motor part number Peco PL1000/PL1001 that sits below the layout support for unobtrusive installation.
The HO 1/87 scale Peco straight turnouts come in three lengths: short, medium and long.
