For the storage of your locomotives, a scalable roundhouse is available, offering three slots designed to be connected to turntables with a 12-degree incline for egress. The brick structure of this construction features a colour contrast between the load-bearing framework and the exposed brickwork.
Each side wall is fitted with seven windows, while each rear wall slot has three windows, a vent, a rooflight and a chimney. The gates can be operated using drive parts and a hinged wire, with the help of a servo motor available separately (Servo, Art. 180726).
This installation can house locomotives up to 290 mm long, including buffers. The clearance between the gates and the bottom of the rails is 72 mm, and this model is compatible with all conventional track systems. It can be enlarged using the "Add-on set for locomotive roundhouse with 12-degree pitch" (Art. 120282). To build a semi-circular roundhouse, you will need 1 unit of Item 120281 and 6 units of Item 120282.
