A little history:
Cap to the south-east, with the PLM's 3-axle, central lookout bogie Express train vans. These vans were delivered to the PLM from 1925 onwards for "Express" train services, and not only covered the major PLM radial routes, but were also incorporated into national and international services that took them to Calais, Bordeaux, Italy, Switzerland and Germany... The SNCF launched a campaign to modernise these vans from 1952 onwards, following the same principles as the modernised East vans, which will also be reproduced later.
