This Roco-signed miniature loco is an HO-scale production version of DB's E 52 03 electric locomotive. On the way to Germany's Federal Public Service!

Description

This model from model train manufacturer Roco is a replica à l39;échelle HO of the the railway company of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). It existed from 1949 to 1993, when it joined Deustche Bahn after German unification. It was equipped with the E 52 03 electric locomotive, a 140-tonne engine that was one of the heaviest ever built in Germany. It had a power output of 2,200 kW. It could reach speeds of 90 km/h. This massive locomotive was used to tow long convoys of passenger trains on the West German rail network after 1945.

Thisminiature locomotive perfectly restores the general line of this bottle-green livery, as well as original features such as the metal wheels, adjustable access ladders and pantographs.
