The brand Marklin proposes the Coffret 4 elements Train Grande Vitesse (TGV) EuroDuplex under digital sound, scale HO 1/87th under reference 37793, which has the following characteristics:
- Set consisting of: 2 motor end cars (TK1 & TK2); 1 double-decker 1st class transition car (R1); 1 double-decker 2nd class transition car (R8).
- Motor car fitted with an MFX / DCC sound decoder offering several sound functions. The TGV also has 3 headlights and 2 red position lights, reversible depending on the direction of travel, operating in digital or conventional mode.
- The chassis and handle bars inside the machines are made of metal. The interior lighting features LED technology. The 2 drives are motorised. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion installed centrally in the 2 power cars.
- Power car driver's cab with interior fittings.
- The transition and end car are securely coupled thanks to special short couplers and connecting guides. Additional guide rail for the Jakobs bogie.
- The motor blocks consist of 2 single-arm pantographs. Note that the pantographs operate mechanically, not electronically.
Can the EuroDuplex TGV trainsets be completed?
The set can be completed with 10 prototype units, called an "additional car set". Compatible Marklin references are available under references 43423; 43433 and 43443.
